  Stockport finished four points clear of Wrexham at the top of the League Two table, securing the crown despite losing 2-1 to their Welsh rivals in the final day of the season. As they celebrated the league success with a parade through the town, the players and fans were heard singing "F*ck you, Wrexham, we've gone and won the league".

  Although they missed out on the league title, Wrexham will play in League One next season after finishing second in the table.
